Space Concept Art

Game Design

This concept art is based on a game I had designed, Space Evolution. Its about a chicken who jumps from asteroid to asteroid collecting stars while avoiding obstacles like meteors, poisonous gas, etc and after each three levels in the game it evolves. The concept art shows the background for the game.

I had made a three - page website for my module in Web Development and this website consists of both HTML & CSS. The website shows my first semester in university during covid lockdown showing what I did each week, it includes a learning journal, a tutorial page and a contact form. This was the first website I created.

About me

Aspiring Game Designer & Concept Artist

Hello! My name is Shaswath and I am currently studying Computer Science for Games.

When I was little I had always enjoyed playing a variety of different games from board games like chess to online video games like Assassin’s Creed, as it piqued my interest for problem solving and discovering different solutions. My interests are photography, travelling, swimming, playing a variety of different video games and my latest interest is creating environmental concept arts.

In school, I was not so great at drawing and actually disliked drawing, but when I saw a video about someone drawing an environmental concept art and that they had no prior knowledge it intrigued me. When deciding what kind of concept artist I wanted to become. I instantly knew I wanted to become an environmental concept artist, as the background gives an image of what kind of character it is like their personality or traits and it also allows me to get more creative with the landscape of the picture.
